If you haven't looked at Restaurantdiary™ for some time, we think you'll be impressed with what you see this year. iPad Hostess App
We have released our host iPad APP - this can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store under "ResDiary" and is free for Restaurantdiary™ customers, if you wish to use the iPad APP please email support@restaurantdiary.co.uk and request that they enable access to the iPad APP for your restaurant. Your comments and suggestions would be most welcome. Customer-branded iPhone and Android App
We also now have the facility to produce an "own brand" iPhone APP and "ownbrand" Android App for Restaurantdiary™ customers. We can make an App for your restaurant or group of restaurants for only £15 a month per restaurant.
BooktoEat
We are about to launch the new www.booktoeat.com portal with a big marketing campaign (in Glasgow first). The site looks fantastic and as bookings are received they pop up on the map of the relevant city in real time - the web site automatically "geo-locates" to wherever you are in the world.
This consumer facing portal is linked in real time with your Restaurantdiary™ account and all bookings conform to your back office yield management settings. However, you can already add your own restaurant to www.booktoeat.com today if you wish (http://www.booktoeat.com/restaurantregistration) - there will be no charges in October. We have not yet firmed up on our sales model but it will definitely be a low monthly flat fee for existing customers of Restaurantdiary™ (projected at £25 per month). We shall undertake never to perform PPC advertising on restaurant names or brands and will enable the "pass through" of customers straight to your own restaurant web site and also promote your restaurant 'phone number. All customer details will be passed straight into your Restaurantdiary™ database to enable viral building of your database and for future marketing - we need to sort out "opt in" on the web site. Restaurants listing on the www.booktoeat.com portal will also be listed on the BooktoEat iPhone APP free of charge (http://www.restaurantdiary.com/news/booktoeat). This APP is available for download from the Apple App Store now (search "BooktoEat") and is completely FOC to consumers - it would be great if you could tell your customers about it. TellTheChef.com and Restaurantdiary™ have teamed up to provide you with an efficient, cost effective system for your food pre-orders, fully integrated within the Restaurantdiary™ system. Together, TellTheChef and Restaurantdiary™ provide a simple workflow allowing you to handle food pre-orders for parties of any size, completely automatically, whilst growing your customer contacts list at the same time. TellTheChef.com is an online food pre-order system. It collects food choices from guests by email, automatically, and organizes them into useable formats including place-cards, kitchen print-outs and table-plans.

Sugarvine is a well-established dining portal. Restaurantdiary™ has agreed with Sugarvine that Sugarvine will add the Restaurantdiary™ booking widget to the listing profile of all Restaurantdiary™ users in Sugarvine - and there will be no charge to restaurants for any booking made through the Sugarvine site using the Restaurantdiary™ booking widget. This is another great opportunity for Restaurantdiary™ users to widen their customer base.
