Reasons
Why should your company consider restaurantdiary.com™?

restaurantdiary.com™ is for food and beverage managers, operators, and IT Directors of groups, hotels, restaurants, casinos and private clubs who strive for and recognise:

The need for flexible, centralised, organised and automatic table reservation management.
The importance of automated customer relationship management and marketing via HTML emails or SMS texts.
The desire to drive business from the Internet via live, fully automated on line booking in true real time.

restaurantdiary.com™ is a unique system designed by restaurateurs for restaurateurs. We tried many of the current products on the market that claimed to help manage restaurant bookings and customers and found nothing that worked the way we wanted it to.

We have replaced Livebookings, Console, 5pm and Quadranet as providers of table management or online solutions. We have won open tenders where Avenista, Opentable and Loghos have been our competition.

We wanted…

A functional, versatile yet simple bookings diary interface reproducible across all of our outlets.
An intelligent booking system which booked reservations according to our preset conditions thus increasing efficiency, yield and profitability.
A fixed, low cost monthly fee with unlimited use of the system - with no commission charges.
Multiple and easy access to the system without expensive outlay costs. All we need is a browser and PC.
To reduce management time spent on bookings administration and increase managers’ time spent focusing on customer care; the system allows us to automatically accept and confirm bookings by email or SMS in true real time from our own web site or third party booking portals and not to have to waste valuable time collating, answering and confirming email requests for tables.
All of the system controls to be preset by ourselves and interchangeable; we control the terms and conditions of our bookings.
To have full control over any discounts or promotions we might want to create.
The ability to automatically "switch sell" from full services to services with availability. Third party booking portals will simply refuse the booking if your allocation is full even though your restaurant may still be available.
To automatically and dynamically build our customer database and to be able to market to our own customers from our own database.

We should like the opportunity to demonstrate our system to you. Please take a tour of our website and contact us.

Should you have any further questions please call the number at the top of the page.

New developments in final stages include:-

Concierge System
Secure Voucher Sales System - now completed
Guest List Management for Clubs
Links to Micros and proprietary PMS systems

Testimonial

"I thought you would like to know that on Friday and Saturday last week
we set what is a new record for the number of customers served in the
pre-theatre/dinner service at The Square. Our previous record was 192 customers (over 3 years ago and a pretty fraught experience) however on Friday we did 191 and on Saturday we did 223. On both nights the service was smooth and while a large part of this was due to Natalie and the team and their level of commitment - the restaurantdiary.com™
system was critical to ensuring that we had the information required
to be able to manage the restaurant efficiently.

Without the ability of the system to react to changes and to show
these changes in real time on the screen we would not have been able to achieve the "table turn"."
