Fishworks - July 2007
restaurantdiary.com™rapid growth continues with 12 venue Fishworks installation
The latest in a series of high profile business wins for unique web-based restaurant booking system, restaurantdiary.com™, was announced by Managing Director, Mike Conyers this week. The multi-site operator, the FishWorks group, is now using the online table management and CRM system in its 12 successful seafood restaurants across London and the West Country.
The deal was announced by restaurantdiary.com Limited founder and MD, Mike Conyers, he said: “We are delighted with this latest business win and it has come off the back of a number of recent developments that has seen our business grow and the product improve. The system has been developed to meet our clients’ needs and now offers a unique restaurant management system which assists venues in maximising profits and provides unrivalled off-site access to booking details with excellent group administration in real time. For respected operators such as Fishworks, Ping Pong, the Heathcotes Group in the North West and Scotland’s G1 Group and di Maggio’s groups to embrace the system gives us a real sense of achievement.”
The restaurantdiary.com™ system was an idea bred from Conyers’ own restaurant management experiences, as a successful multi-site owner in Glasgow he developed a concept for online reservations, customer relationship management and effective cover management. Following a 12 month development testing and development period, the original system was launched in 2004; since that time extensive work with an ever-increasing client base has lead to key technological developments and created a web-based management system that some of the UK’s leading restaurant groups and hotels now rely on to achieve maximum efficiency.
With a long line of key new business wins and technological advances, including the recent integration with epos systems from Posera, restaurantdiary.com™ now boasts over 2 million restaurant reservations per year and a staggering 400% business growth over the last two years. Further growth has come internationally, with the system now being used in restaurants across Eire, Scandinavia and North America with new accounts set to come on stream in Dubai, Kuwait and Mexico.
restaurantdiary.com™ is unique in the booking and table management market due to its online availability, allowing managers or owners to access booking details from wherever they have internet access, and the single product licensing structure which means the venue is the client and the product can then be used on as many stations or remotely as necessary. The pricing structure is also unique in the current market, with venues only charged on a flat fee basis and not on a commission based structure.
Conyers continued: "We quickly realised that no two restaurants are the same and we are confident that the restaurantdiary.com™ can be effectively adapted to meet our clients’ individual requirements. The support team and I relish working with each venue to ensure that they achieve the desired results in maximising profits and improving the flow of communication to their customers. We are now looking forward to working with even more operators both in the UK and across the world."
