ROLE:
restaurantdiary™ requires bright, intelligent, presentable and ambitious business development executives to help us double our business year on year as we have done for the last two years.
Candidates must be able to empathise with and understand each client's business model and be able to gain their trust by demonstrating a sincere willingness to help drive the business.
We provide an integrated web based reservation, profit improvement, CRM and marketing solution to restaurant operators in the hotel and restaurant business. We guarantee to customers we can improve upon any reservation system, whether manual or computerised, in terms of total covers, yield and profitability.
Our newest recruit is Iain Wilson, of Edinburgh, former opening and front of house manager with G1 PLC. Within two months of starting work with us, Iain found himself in Mexico helping
www.reservatel.com to get off to a flying start using restaurantdiary's booking engine and web service for portals.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Be yourself, work from home and work to targets agreed with your peers and the Business Development Director.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will not need to have a proven track record in sales.
Essential is at least 3 years management experience front of house in restaurants and an understanding of how restaurants can maximise efficiency through effective demand and yield management.
Required skills / education
a) Fully computer literate (essential).
b) Fluent written English (essential).
c) At least one other major European language (desirable).
A willingness to travel is essential.
